IIT Madras launches India’s first mobile medical device calibration facility

IIT Madras: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has launched India’s first medical devices calibration mobile facility under its ‘Anaivarukkum IITM’ (IITM for all) initiatives. The calibration is a process to ensure the accuracy of medical devices for proper diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

“This versatile office will guarantee inescapable quality medical care independent of topographical areas the nation over. This will assist with testing and keep up with clinical gadgets that are utilized in extensive variety of medical clinics remembering those for towns very close to home,” expressed IITM in an authority proclamation.

The versatile unit of adjustment incorporates cutting edge gear to test the wellbeing of clinical gadgets and their functionalities according to worldwide principles.
