IIT Madras Introduces Online Certificate Courses At Rs 500

IIT Madras : Candidates are now getting an opportunity to study at the prestigious IIT Madras, in the form of an online course, that too under a very affordable price. As per the reports, this course is the best for students who have completed class 11 or class 12. Here are all the details related to the course.

IIT Madras is offering two online certificate courses, for a price of Rs 500. The course has a duration of 8-week and offers education in the subjects of data science, artificial intelligence and electronic systems. To apply for the course, the interested candidates can apply at the school-connect.study.iitm.ac.in, the official website. As per more reports, the application can be done through the partnered schools.

The registration started on September 16 and the last date to apply is October 4. The course is expected to commence from October 21. For partnered schools, the registration deadline is set at September 30, as detailed in the reports.

What is the eligibility to apply for the course?

For the courses of data science and artificial intelligence, the student should have completed their 12 from any stream. While for the course of electronic systems, a candidate should have completed their 12th from the science (physics) as well as maths stream.

The institution will upload recorded lectures on the website, each carrying the duration of 30 minutes. The videos will be shared each Monday, more reports stated. Once a month, a live interaction session will be conducted and assignments will be given every two weeks. The students will be given a period of two weeks to complete the assignments.
