IIT Madras 60th convocation: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras held today IIT Madras 60th convocation, July 22. At the institute’s 60th convocation, 2,573 students graduated. On this day, students received a total of 2,746 degrees, including joint and dual degrees.
The IIT Madras 60th conference is being held in the scenery of the organization sending off the very first worldwide grounds in Tanzania-Zanzibar.
IIT Madras said in a statement that 453 PhDs were awarded, including Dual Degree PhDs, Joint Degree PhDs with foreign institutions, and PhDs.
The chief guest of the convocation was Dhananjaya Y Chandrachud, Chief Justice of India. Pawan Goenka, chairman, board of governors, IIT Madras, presided over the convocation in the presence of V Kamakoti, Director, IIT Madras, faculty, staff and students.
