IIT-Kharagpur: Amit Jain appointed as IIT-Kharagpur’s new registrar

IIT-Kharagpur: On Tuesday, IIT-Kharagpur made Captain (Ret.) Amit Jain its new registrar. Jain was before senior counsel to Indian Naval force at INS Angre in Mumbai, IIT-Kharagpur said in an explanation.

“We invite Chief Amit Jain (retd) as the new enlistment center of IIT-Kharagpur and anticipate his capable direction, productive ideations and steady consolation in reshaping this establishment for its future yearnings,” said IIT-Kharagpur’s acting chief Saswat Chakrabarti.

He stated, “The outgoing registrar’s excellent services are greatly appreciated and acknowledged.”

Jain served in the Navy for three decades and held executive officer, navigating officer, and operations officer positions. In addition, as the Indian Navy’s INS Dwarka Okha’s commanding officer in 2019, he was in charge of ship administration and logistics.
