IIT Kharagpur, AEEE collaborate to advance sustainable transportation solutions

IIT Kharagpur : The Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy (AEEE), a organization in India focused on organising and implementing energy efficiency policies, has partnered with the Ranbir and Chitra Gupta School of Infrastructure Design and Management (RCGSIDM) at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT KGP. They have recently signed an agreement to work together on enhancing sustainable transportation solutions in the country.

The goal of this collaboration is to address key issues in sustainable transportation by combining AEEE’s industry knowledge and network with IIT Kharagpur’s research expertise and infrastructure.

As a result of the partnership, AEEE and IIT KGP will work together on research projects that are centered on technologies for sustainable transportation. In order to enhance their expertise in sustainable transportation, they will jointly develop and implement extensive training programs for students, researchers, and industry professionals.

As part of this partnership, joint conferences, workshops, and seminars will be held to encourage discussion and raise awareness. In addition, the organizations will lend their support to regulatory and policy changes designed to promote the spread and acceptance of environmentally friendly transportation options throughout India.
