IIT Kanpur invites applications for new Cohort of eMasters degree for working professionals

IIT Kanpur: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has launched a new cohort of its eMasters programme in Sustainable Construction Practices and Project Management. This programme is designed to equip professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to build and manage sustainable construction projects.

The deadline to submit an application for this eMasters program is April 30, 2024. The application process is currently underway. At the time of submitting the application, candidates will be required to pay a fee of Rs 1,500, with the remaining Rs 40,000 due within one week of being selected. The institute says that the program will start in July 2024.

With 36% of the world’s energy consumption and 40% of the world’s CO2 emissions coming from the construction industry, it is a major cause for concern for the environment. To address this test, the program will cover subjects, for example, green structure materials, energy-proficient plan, sustainable power frameworks, project arranging, booking, planning, quality control, risk the board, and agreement the executives.
