IIT JAM Counselling 2023: Admission forms open

The Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM) 2023 admissions has begun at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG). Apply for IIT JAM Counselling 2023 admissions 2023 at the IIT JAM official website, jam.iitg.ac.in, until April 25, 2023, if you passed the IIT JAM 2023 exam on February 12, 2023.

Students will be eligible to apply for admission to 2,800 seats in 90 postgraduate programs at 21 IITs if they pass the IIT JAM 2023 exam. The IIT JAM admission fee is Rs 750, and it is non-refundable for candidates who want to be admitted. Students who have already submitted their application forms to IIT Guwahati will be able to make changes until the IIT JAM admission deadline.

“By logging into the Candidate Portal and selecting “Withdraw,” applicants who have been offered a seat can CANCEL the offer. From June 15 to July 2, 2023, this option would be available. The IIT JAM information brochure stated, “The Seat Booking Fee (if paid by them) would be refunded after deducting a Processing Fee of 1,000/- by August 15, 2023.”

The subjects that must be studied at the 10+2 level or during a bachelor’s degree are specified by each program’s own minimum educational qualifications (MEQs). The official IIT JAM admissions 2023 information brochure contains a list of the MEQs for various programs. Candidates will be admitted without having to take an additional written or interview test because the JAM All India Rank (AIR) will be used. However, all admitted candidates may be required to submit a physical fitness certificate in the prescribed format to the admitting institute at the time of admission. Candidates may lose their admission if it is determined that they are not physically able to complete their chosen program.
