IIT Goa Is Offering Scholarships For UG And PG Students

IIT Goa : For students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programmes, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Goa, a leading centre for technological education and engineering research, offers a range of scholarships. With resources for doctoral research in every department and research centre, the institute offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in a variety of engineering specialities. IIT Goa: Merit-Cum-Means (MCM) Scholarship

Students from the General, OBC-NCL, and EWS categories are eligible for this award depending on their financial need and merit. The total gross parental income of the eligible students from the previous fiscal year must not exceed Rs 4,50,000 (excluding standard deductions). By addressing financial difficulties, the MCM Scholarship enables students to concentrate on their studies.

IIT Goa: Free Messing Facilities (SC/ST Scholarship)

This programme is intended for SC and ST candidates from lower-income families. Both parents’ combined income from the previous fiscal year, 2020–21, must not have exceeded Rs 4,50,000 (excluding standard deductions) in order to be eligible. Free mess services are provided to recipients, which lowers living expenses and guarantees meal constancy.

The Ministry of Human Resource & Development (GoI) founded the Indian Institute of Technology Goa in 2016.
