IIT Delhi students win WorldQuant’s International Quant Championship 2023

International Quant Championship: A team of two students from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) has won the International Quant Championship (IQC 2023) hosted by WorldQuant. Nihar Patel and Vaibhav Gupta have won a cash prize of more than 100,000 US dollars or Rs 83,28,000.

The IIT Delhi group went up against 30,000 members from in excess of 100 nations. A sum of 12 groups from across the nations who got the most noteworthy focuses in the subsequent stage got a solicitation to the Bahamas for a live test and show.

India, Canada, and the United Kingdom are the IQC 2023 winning teams. The judges evaluated each participant based on a variety of criteria, including alpha creation, the diversification approach, originality of ideas, the selection rationale, and alpha performance.

The groups addressing different countries, including Canada, China, Hungary, India, Malaysia, the Assembled Realm, the US of America, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, and Vietnam, partook in the finals of the Global Capabilities Rivalry 2023.
