IIT Delhi MTech Admission 2025: Application Begins

IIT Delhi : The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has officially launched the application process for its MTech programmes for the academic year 2025. Interested candidates can now submit their applications through the official website of IIT Delhi. The online application submission has begun on March 22, 2025, at 12:00 noon, and the last date to apply is April 7, 2025, by 4:00 pm.

Candidates applying for the full-time MTech programme with a valid GATE score should also register on the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) and mention their COAP Registration Number in the application.

IIT Delhi MTech Admission 2025: Important Dates

Application Submission Begins: March 22, 2025 (12:00 noon)

Last Date for Application Submission: April 7, 2025 (4:00 pm)

Conduct of Written Tests/Interviews: May 14 – June 16, 2025

Orientation for New PG Students: July 19, 2025

Registration for New PG Students: July 19 – July 20, 2025

Commencement of Classes: July 24, 2025

IIT Delhi MTech Admission 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have completed a B.Tech. or M.Sc. degree in a relevant discipline are eligible to apply for the MTech programmes at IIT Delhi. The minimum eligibility for General/OBC candidates is 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.00 on a 10-point scale in their qualifying degree. For SC/ST/PwD candidates, the required minimum marks are relaxed to 55% or a CGPA of 5.50. Candidates also need a valid GATE score to apply for admission to Mtech admission programme.

Candidates can refer to the GATE score cut-off for admission to non-sponsored full-time M.Tech. programmes from the previous academic year, which is available in the official bulletin. However, it is important to note that the cut-off mentioned pertains to the academic year 2024-25 and is provided only for reference. The cut-off for this year may vary significantly.
