IIT Bombay Placement 2023: Rs 3.7 crore highest international salary

IIT Bombay Placement: Indian Institute of Technology IIT Bombay Placement said 1,516 students secured jobs, which is the highest number to date, during the campus placement drive during the placement season 2022-23. The highest international salary package received by an IIT Bombay student was Rs 3.67 crore per annum while the highest domestic salary offered was Rs.1.68 crore per annum.

Sixteen students were offered salaries exceeding Rs. 1 crore per year. 65 students accepted offers from multinational corporations. Of the 300 pre-arrangement offers 194 were acknowledged by understudies. The typical compensation bundle offered this season was Rs 21.82 lakhs per annum (CTC). According to the IIT Bombay, 384 businesses participated in the placement drive, of which 324 offered jobs.

Indian Organization of Innovation Bombay said 2,174 understudies had enlisted for the grounds position season from July 2022 – June 2023, of which 1,845 partook all the while. Interviews were conducted both online and offline during the hybrid mode of the placements. 1,316 work declaration structures were filled by 531 organizations this year, barring the pre-situation offers.

The students in the computer science department received the greatest number of job offers. There were job offers for 228 department students. It was trailed by the electrical designing office, in which 214 understudies landed position valuable open doors. Understudies of Aviation design division (78), applied measurements and informatics division (26), biosciences and bioengineering office (33), substance designing office (141), science division (35), structural designing (129), studies of the planet office (17), energy science and designing office (40), modern plan community division (54), mechanical designing office (191), metallurgical designing and materials science office (13) and physical science division (17) likewise landed worthwhile position offers. An all out 182 understudies from residual projects got bids for employment.
