IIT Bombay launches initiative to mentor rural girls in STEM

IIT Bombay: IIT-Bombay has presented an effort drive called WISE (Women in Science Engineering from Rural Parts of India) to battle the slanted orientation proportion inside STEM courses. Recently, the first event in the program, which will now be held annually, took place.

The initiative aims to introduce STEM courses to rural ninth-grade girls and includes a periodic mentorship structure that student volunteers at IIT Bombay will use to follow up with the girls.
