IIM Shillong gives PhD, MBA degrees to 349 students during 15th convocation ceremony

IIM Shillong: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong on Wednesday awarded 349 students with PhD and MBA degrees during its 15th annual convocation ceremony. Savi Mahajan, Dhavalkumar and Mukesh Kumar were awarded the Chairman’s Gold Medal for securing the highest CGPA in PGP, PGPEX and PGPWE programmes, respectively.

IIM Shillong gave out PhD degrees to five doctoral researchers while 281 understudies of Postgraduate Program (PGP) in Administration 2022-24 bunch, 47 of PGP for Experienced Experts (PGPEX) 2023-24 group and 16 of PGP for Working Chief (PGPWE) 2022-24 cluster stowed MBA degrees.

The foundation congratulated MBA understudies Rohan Basak with the ‘Chief’s Gold Award for Best All-Rounder’ and Kolapalli Bhargav with the ‘Organization Silver Decoration’ for getting the second-most elevated CGPA. ‘ Establishment Award’ for positive commitment to grounds life was won by Akash Tiwari.

To advance the way of life of upper east India, IIM Shillong collaborated with the Focal point of Greatness for Khadi (CoEK) to make another assembly clothing propelled by the customary Khasi ancestral wrap – the Muka. The clothing has been made of eri silk by Tamulpur Anchalik Gramdaan Sangh, the most seasoned khadi foundation in the Upper east.
