IIM Lucknow, FPSB to Offer Certification Programme in Financial Planning For Students, Professionals

IIM Lucknow : The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FPSB India to introduce a certification programme in Financial Planning. It will be launched in the academic session 2024-25 and will be available to both students and working professionals.

The institute aims to raise the standard of financial planning education in India by providing students with relevant information and instruction. The program will equip a new generation of financial planners with the necessary skills to meet the changing needs of the industry by combining rigorous academic instruction with professional certification. IIM Lucknow stated in a press release that “this effort is anticipated to drive growth and enhance the prosperity of both the industry and the broader economy.”

“At IIM Lucknow, we are dedicated to providing our students with a holistic education that not only enriches their knowledge but also equips them with practical skills for today’s dynamic financial landscape,” Prof. Archana Shukla, Director-in-Charge of IIM Lucknow, stated during the signing of the MoU. Our commitment to innovation, industry-relevant education, and collaboration for the benefit of students and the industry is reflected in this partnership with FPSB India. As we pursue a ‘Viksit Bharat’, it’s significant that our Money and Bookkeeping educational plan stays dynamic and important, setting up our understudies to successfully address developing monetary difficulties.”
