IIM Kashipur launches executive PG certificate in rail management; course starts on January 27

IIM Kashipur: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur in collaboration with Zenith Railway Academy has launched an executive management programme for railway professionals. The executive postgraduate certificate programme in rail management will equip learners with managerial acumen, the institute said.

The 11-month course will start from January 27. Up-and-comers who have finished a degree in any discipline with at least half stamps and no less than two-years of expert experience will be qualified to apply for the program.

According to the Association Spending plan 2023, the cost for the rail line area has grown multiple times the sum distributed in the year 2013-14. The assets have been used for drives, for example, digitization of rail line, track modernization and building a fast rail organization.

According to the IIM, more than fifty metro rail projects under the Gati Shakti initiatives are currently in progress, and management professionals are in high demand.

“The program will be leader amicable to suit the timetables of working experts. The classes will be hung on ends of the week for a term of 150+ learning hours. It will likewise have a part of the grounds inundation program with a 3-day visit to the IIM Kashipur grounds,” IIM Kashipur said.

Kunal K Ganguly, teacher at IIM Kashipur, said: ” The target of the program is to furnish the members with a stage to improve their insight base and level up their abilities and skills to develop higher in their professions.
