IIM Ahmedabad Records 100% Placements For PGP Class

IIM Ahmedabad : IIM Ahmedabad successfully completed its final placement process for the MBA (Post Graduate Programme in Management – PGP) Class of 2025, continuing its legacy of attracting top-tier firms across multiple industries. The process saw participation from a diverse range of companies, resulting in all students being placed across 30 cohorts.

The placement process began with the Laterals Placements, held from January 6 to 21, 2025, targeting candidates with prior work experience for middle and senior management roles. In the Final Placement process, firms were grouped into cohorts based on their industry profile, and students had the opportunity to apply to their dream companies, even after receiving an offer. This year, there was a 16% increase in the number of “dreamers” compared to last year.

IIM Ahmedabad Placement 2025: Top Recruiters

Top recruiters included Boston Consulting Group (BCG), which made the highest number of offers (35), followed by Accenture Strategy with 30 offers. In the investment banking sector, Goldman Sachs led with 9 offers, while Avendus Capital followed closely with 7 offers. Additionally, there was a notable increase in demand for students in niche consulting, fintech, and consumer tech sectors. Niche Consulting offers increased by 22%, while fintech offers rose by 40%. Offers in consumer tech saw an impressive increase of 800%, demonstrating the growing diversity of roles and sectors attracting IIMA graduates.

“We expected strong headwinds for this year’s placement season due to the current volatile geopolitical environment. However, corporates showed faith in IIMA as usual. The variety of firms and roles offered are testaments to the quality of students at IIMA, as well as the faith recruiters have in our institute and its students,” said Prof. Viswanath Pingali, Chairperson of the Placement Committee at IIM Ahmedabad.
