IGNOU signs agreement with ICMAI for developing ODL course

The “Diploma in Agricultural Cost Management” Open and Distance Learning (ODL) course that will be offered by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) will be developed in accordance with an agreement that was signed.

On April 24, 2023, the agreement was signed at CMA Bhawan in New Delhi.
The agreement, according to a university statement, aims to educate farming communities about effective farm cost management by providing them with the knowledge, skills, and entrepreneurial abilities necessary for this type of management.
In addition, the university stated in its statements that the program will benefit progressive farmers, youth from urban and rural areas, small and medium-sized entrepreneurs, extension workers, trainers from non-governmental organizations, and self-help groups.

IGNOU Expert bad habit chancellor Sumitra Kukreti, Recorder Umesh Chander Pandey and personnel of school of farming at IGNOU, Mukesh Kumar were available on the event.

Praveen Kumar Jain gave an overview of the agreement and informed everyone that the diploma course will be developed under the same. Senior director DP Nandy of IGNOU also gave a warm welcome to all of the attendees. UC Pandey, the university’s registrar, stated: Because of its large student body and extensive network of learner support centers, IGNOU is the best university for offering such programs. CMA’s P Raju Iyer stated: Students enrolled in this program will be sought after by a variety of educational establishments. College genius bad habit chancellor Kukreti complimented both the college authorities as well as the ICMAI and said that it is a groundbreaking event for both the organizations.
