IGNOU : The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the registration deadline for the July 2024 admissions yet again. The last date to apply has now been set as October 31. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) courses through the official website of the university at ignouadmissions.samarth.edu.in and for the online courses at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.
Candidates must upload scanned copies of photographs, signatures, educational qualifications certificates, and category certificates (if any) when applying for the Online or Open and Distance Learning programmes at the institute.
— For UG admissions at IGNOU, a student must have passed class 12 with a minimum of 50 per cent marks from any recognised educational board.
— For the Postgraduate or PG courses, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant stream from a recognised university with a minimum of 50 per cent marks
— To apply for diploma or certificate courses, students must have done class 12 from a recognized board.
— Admissions will be given based on the merit list for all courses, except PhD, Bed, and PBScN).
Step 1: Visit ignouadmissions.samarth.edu.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, look out for the ‘July Admissions 2024’ tab and click on it.
Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page featuring Online and ODL programme links.
Step 4: Choose your preferred programme, fill out the application form, and submit all the required documents.
Step 5: Deposit the application fees.
Step 6: Download the acknowledgment form for future reference.
