HTET 2024: Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test Postponed, Revised Dates Likely Soon

HTET 2024 : The Haryana Board of School Education has postponed the Haryana TET exam scheduled for December 7 and 8. The board has said that the Teacher Eligibility Test will remain postponed till further orders. The reason for postponing the TET exam is the vacancy of the post of the chairman of the education board. The appointment to the post of chairman is pending.

The exam is held for candidates seeking teaching positions in Haryana’s government schools. Level 1 (primary teachers), Level 2 (trained graduate teachers), and Level 3 (postgraduate teachers) are the three levels at which the test is administered.

Earlier, the last date for applying for Haryana TET was November 14 which was extended by one day to November 15. The last date for making corrections to the application form was November 17.

According to the schedule released earlier, the Haryana TET Level-3 paper was scheduled to be held on December 7th from 3 PM to 5:30 PM. While the Level-2 paper was scheduled to be conducted on December 8th from 10 AM to 12:30 PM and the Level-1 paper was to be held from 3 PM to 5 PM but both now stand cancelled.

HTET 2024 Exam Schedule: How To Check?

Here are the steps to check the Haryana TET 2024 exam schedule, once it is announced by the board:

Step 1: Go to BSEH’s official website, bseh.org.in.

Step 2: Click the link to the HTET 2024 link from the main website.

Step 3: Look and click on the revised exam schedule link.

Step 4: The schedule will appear on your screen in a PDF format.

Step 7: Download and take a print out for further use.

The test will be delivered in the traditional pen-and-paper style, with applicants required to mark their answers on an OMR sheet provided during the exam. In order to pass the Haryana TET exam, a candidate must receive at least 60 per cent in every component and 40 per cent in every paper.
