HPBOSE 10th, 12th Exam 2025 Final Date Sheet Released
HPBOSE : Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has released the final date sheet for class 10th and class 12th board examinations. According to the official schedule, class 10th examinations under regular and State Open School (SOS) will be conducted from March 4, 2025, to March 24, 2025. The class 12th examinations will run from March 4, 202,5 to March 29, 2025. The exams for both classes will be held in a single shift, which will start at 8:45 am and end at noon. Candidates can visit the official website at hpbose.org to check the full schedule.
Step 1 — Visit the official website of HPBOSE, hpbose.org.
Step 2 — Click on the “Exam” tab available on the website.
Step 3 — Select the “Date Sheet” option in the dropdown menu.
Step 4 — Click on the timetable link for class 10th or class 12th.
Step 5 — View the exam schedule and download it.
To pass the HP board 10th and 12th exams, students need to secure at least 33 per cent marks overall as well as in each subject. This means they have to get a grade of D at least.
Taking a look at the previous years’ pass percentages, a total of 90,130 students took the class 10 exams last year of which 74 per cent cleared it. In 2023, as many as 91,440 students took the Himachal Pradesh 10th board exam of which 81,732 students had passed. The overall pass percentage stood at 89.7 per cent. In 2022, a total of 87.5 per cent of the students who took the exam passed and in 2021, it was 99.7 per cent.
While around 85,000 students took the HP board 12th exams 2024 out of which 73.76 per cent passed. This is 6 per cent less than in 2023 when the overall passing percentage stood at 79.4 per cent. In 2022, the pass percentage stood at 93.91 per cent and in 2021, it was 92.77 per cent.
