GPSC CCE Prelims Result: On Tuesday, the Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) released the results for the GPSC CCE Prelims 2023, also known as the Combined Competitive Preliminary Examination. The commission has identified 3,806 candidates who have provisionally qualified for the Mains exam. The complete list is available on the official website of GPSC at gpsc.gujarat.gov.in, and a direct link to the list is provided below.

In addition to announcing the results of the GPSC CCE Prelims 2023, GPSC has also released the category-wise cut-off marks required for candidates to appear in the Mains exam. These cut-offs represent the minimum marks/rank required for a candidate belonging to a specific category to qualify for the Mains exam.

For General category male candidates, the cut-off mark to appear in the Mains exam is 184.77. For General category female candidates, the cut-off mark required is 163.56.

General Male184.77 marks
General Female163.56 marks
EWS Male184.77 marks
EWS Female163.56 marks
SEBC Male184.77 marks
SEBC Female163.56 marks
SC Male184.77 marks
SC Female163.56 marks
ST Male169.73 marks
ST Female134.12 marks

According to GPSC, in cases where the cut-off marks for reserved categories are higher than the General category cut-off, they have been adjusted to match the General category cut-off marks.

To provide an example, the cut-off mark for General category male candidates is 184.77 marks. However, for EWS (Male), SEBC (Male), and SC (Male) categories, the cut-off marks are higher, at 218.01, 207.71, and 209.41 respectively. Therefore, the cut-off marks for EWS (Male), SEBC (Male), and SC (Male) candidates have been adjusted to 184.77 marks, which is equivalent to the General category male cut-off. This adjustment also applies to female candidates wherever necessary.

The GPSC CCE Prelims exam for the Gujarat Administrative Service Class‐1, Gujarat Civil Service Class 1 & 2, and Gujarat State Municipal Chief Officers’ Service Class‐2 was conducted on January 8, 2023.
