GATE 2025 Answer Key Released
GATE 2025 : The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has released the provisional answer key for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now download the GATE 2025 answer key from the official GATE 2025 website at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
Along with the provisional answer key, IIT Roorkee has also released the response sheets of candidates who appeared for the exam. Candidates can calculate their approximate scores by comparing their response sheets with the answer key.
Candidates can raise objections against the provisional answer key from February 27 to March 1, 2025, by presenting valid evidence to support their claims.
Step 1: Visit the official GATE 2025 website: gate2025.iitr.ac.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link for “GOAPS portal”
Step 3: On the newly opened page enter your details like Enrollment Id / Email Address
and password
Step 4: Click on login and links for GATE 2025 answer key and response sheet will appear in your screen
Step 5: Download the provisional key and your response sheet
Step 6: Review the answers and calculate your scores using the answer key and respinse sheet
GATE 2025 Exam Pattern
The GATE 2025 exam featured a combination of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type. The exam consists of 65 questions in total, including 10 questions on General Aptitude and 55 questions from the chosen subject.
The overall weightage of the GATE exam is 100 marks. Each question carries either 1 or 2 marks, depending on the type. For MCQs, negative marking will be applied: 1/3 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer in 1-mark questions.
