eVidyaloka, Indian Army collaborate to set up digital classroom in Jammu and Kashmir

eVidyaloka : The eVidyaloka, an NGO dedicated to transforming rural education in India, has partnered with the Indian Army under Operation Sadbhavana to establish a digital classroom at Government Middle School Nakarkote, a village near the Line of Control in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir.

According to the authority public statement, Jammu and Kashmir experiences significant impediments in conveying quality schooling because of its distant landscape and deficient framework. Educational disparities and a lack of resources, particularly qualified teachers, plague the region. Accordingly, eVidyaloka, in association with the Indian Armed force, is handling these difficulties by carrying out computerized devices and imaginative educating approaches. This cooperation means to improve instructive principles and engage understudies in Jammu and Kashmir.

This initiative, which was launched on the eve of Kargil Vijay Diwas 2024, aims to close the digital divide and provide equal learning opportunities for children between the ages of 10 and 15 in these isolated border areas of Jammu and Kashmir.

eVidyaloka volunteers from all over the world will teach students online lessons in regional languages in the newly constructed digital classroom, which has LED monitors and WiFi. The educational program will envelop different subjects like Math, Science, and English.

According to the official press release, this initiative introduces digital learning in the region, making education more interactive, engaging, and accessible. The program aims to cultivate global citizens who are responsible and knowledgeable in addition to academics. It also aims to enhance critical thinking and personal development.
