Eastern Railway Recruitment For 3115 Apprenticeship Posts To Begin On Sept 24, Class 10th Pass Can Apply

Eastern Railway Recruitment : The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Eastern Railway (ER), is inviting online applications for training in Workshops and Divisions of Eastern Railway as Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961, and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can submit their application online through the official website of RRC-ER at rrcer.org. It is to be noted that the application window will open on September 24 (from 11:00 AM) and will remain live up to October 23 (5:00 PM).

Upon selection, candidates can expect a stipend of approximately Rs 10,000 per month.

RRC ER Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: To be eligible for the post, candidates must have qualified class 10 or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50 per cent marks, in aggregate, from a recognised board. They should also possess the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade released by NCVT/SCVT.

Age limit: Candidates should have completed 15 years of age but should not be above 24 years of age.

Under the recruitment drive, the recruitment cell is aiming to fill a total of 3,115 apprentice positions across the Eastern Railway zones. Here’s the breakdown of the above-mentioned vacancies:

Howrah Division: 659 posts

Liluah Workshop: 612 posts

Sealdah Division: 440 posts

Kanchrapara Workshop: 187 posts

Malda Division: 138 posts

Asansol Division: 412 posts

Jamalpur Workshop: 667 posts

RRC ER Recruitment 2024: Steps to Apply

Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official website of RRC Eastern Railway at rrcer.org.

Step 2: Look for the ‘RRC/ER/Act Apprentices/2024-25’ notification on the homepage.

Step 3: If not already registered, create a new account by entering the required details.

Step 4: Then, log in using the generated credentials and complete the online application form.

Step 5: Scan and upload the required documents in the mentioned format and pay the application fee.

Step 6: Review all details carefully and submit the application form.

Step 7: Save a copy of the application form for future reference.
