DU Admissions 2023: Admission Process Start Soon

DU Admissions 2023: According to a senior official, Delhi University intends to initiate the undergraduate admissions process by the end of this month, using the Common Seat Allocation System. To facilitate the admissions process, the university will introduce two distinct portals for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. On Friday, the CBSE announced the results for Class 12, revealing that 87.33 percent of students have successfully passed the examination.

According to a senior official from the university, the announcement for Class 12 results was made just yesterday. Additionally, the CUET UG is scheduled to commence later this month. The university is currently in the process of preparing for the admission procedure and is expected to initiate it by the end of the month.

The admissions for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs will be conducted through CSAS (UG) 2023 and CSAS (PG) 2023 respectively. To secure admission to Delhi University (DU), students will need to participate in CUET UG 2023 and CUET PG 2023 exams, as well as register on the respective CSAS UG and PG portals of DU. The university is optimistic that this year’s admission process will be more streamlined and efficient, as stated by the official.

“We have made comprehensive preparations to facilitate admissions to both undergraduate and postgraduate programs through CUET. Two distinct portals will be introduced for the admission process of graduate and postgraduate programs,” stated the official.

The upcoming admission cycle will mark the university’s first implementation of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for post-graduate programs. However, last year, the university successfully admitted students to its 70 colleges through CUET-UG.

“Last year was our inaugural experience with CUET for admissions, and this year we anticipate a smoother process. Additionally, we are prepared to conduct PG admissions for the first time, and we are confident in our abilities,” affirmed the official. Delhi University received the highest number of applications for CUET UG, followed by Banaras Hindu University, Allahabad University, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, and Jamia Millia Islamia.
