DU Admission 2025: UG Admission Bulletin Released

DU Admission 2025 : The University of Delhi (DU) has officially released the information brochure for undergraduate (UG) course admissions for the academic session 2025-26. As per the announcement, DU UG admissions for 2025 will be solely based on the scores obtained in the CUET (UG) 2025 exam. The university has clarified that “Only the scores obtained in CUET (UG) – 2025 will be considered for admissions to the academic year 2025-26.”

DU UG Admission 2025: Key Admission Details

CUET (UG) Scores: Admissions to all undergraduate programs at DU will be determined by CUET (UG) 2025 scores, with the exception of admissions to the School of Open Learning (SOL), Non-Collegiate Women Education Board (NCWEB), and foreign nationals.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed the Class XII examination or its equivalent from a recognized board. Students who have completed their education abroad should ensure their qualification is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Mandatory CUET Subjects: To be eligible for admission, candidates must appear in CUET (UG) 2025 for subjects they have studied in Class XII. If a subject studied in Class XII does not appear in the CUET syllabus, candidates are required to appear in a related subject (e.g., a candidate who studied Biochemistry must appear in Biology in CUET).

Program-Specific Eligibility: Admission will be based on the combination of Language/s, Domain-Specific Subjects, and/or General Aptitude Test (GAT) scores. Candidates should refer to the specific eligibility requirements for their chosen program to determine which subjects to appear in CUET.

Registration and Seat Allocation: All candidates, including those under supernumerary quotas, must register for CUET (UG) 2025 on the NTA portal (cuet.nta.nic.in). For seat allocation, candidates will need to apply through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-UG) 2025 on the DU admissions portal (admission.uod.ac.in).

Citizenship Requirement: Only Indian citizens or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are eligible to apply for regular undergraduate courses.
