DRDO Recruitment 2024 : The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is currently accepting applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Research Associate (RA) and Junior Research Fellow (JRF). These vacancies are in various disciplines such as Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Science. Only offline applications will be accepted by the DRDO and no applications will be accepted by email. It is important to note that candidates are advised to send their offline application in the prescribed format duly typed along with self-attested copies of educational qualifications and experience certificates.

The applications must be sent via speed post to – “HEAD HRD, DR. APJ ABDUL KALAM MISSILE COMPLEX, RESEARCH CENTRE IMARAT (RCI), PO-VIGYANA KANCHA, HYDERABAD, TELANGANA – 500 069. It should be sent within 30 days from the next day of publication of the advertisement. Through this recruitment drive, the DRDO will fill a total of 22 vacancies in the organisation.

DRDO Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

The maximum age to apply for the position of Research Associate is 35 years, and the minimum age for the position of Junior Research Fellow is 28 years. According to GoI guidelines, the upper age limit might be relaxed to five years for SC / ST candidates and three years for OBCs.

Only those who have successfully obtained a BE/BTech degree for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and a PhD degree for a Research Associate (RA) from an accredited university may apply.

The candidate’s performance in a written exam or interview will determine the selection process. The candidates will be employed as Research Associates for DRDO Recruitment 2024 temporarily for two years.
