Dharmendra Pradhan to launch BS in Electronic Systems at IIT Madras

On March 6, Union minister for education Dharmendra Pradhan will introduce the Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electronic Systems program at IIT Madras. The program will be launched online by the minister. At 11 a.m., the BS degree program will begin.
An official IIT Madras statement stated, “IIT Madras is launching a BS degree program in Electronic Systems to meet the significant and growing demand for skilled graduates in the electronics and embedded systems sector in India.”

After the BS program in data science and applications, this is the second BS program being offered, according to the institute. It stated that the first BS program currently has 17,000 students enrolled.
Criteria for eligibility Anyone, regardless of age, position, or location, who has completed Class 12 (or its equivalent) may apply.
Students who have passed their final exams for Class 11 and are studying Physics and Mathematics are eligible to apply. After passing Class 12, those who meet the requirements can enroll in the program.

Students will be able to finish the program earlier with a certificate or diploma at the foundation level. Students who are eligible and interested can examine the course credits, topics, fees, and other details. on IIT Madras’s official website. Professor V Kamakoti, director of IIT Madras, will lead the event.

The institute’s chair of the board of governors, Pawan Kumar Goenka, will be the guest of honor at the launch event. Professors Boby George and S Aniruddhan, both of the institute’s electrical engineering department, will be in charge of directing the program. On YouTube, a live stream of the new BS program’s launch will be available.
