Delhi University Recruitment 2024 For 137 Assistant Vacancies To Begin On December 18

Delhi University : Delhi University is inviting applications for various positions, including Assistant and other roles, as part of its latest recruitment drive. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website du.ac.in. The online registration process will begin on December 18, 2024, and will close on December 27, 2024.

The recruitment drive includes 11 vacancies for the position of Assistant Registrar, 46 openings for Senior Assistant, and 80 positions for Assistant, making a total of 137 posts available across various roles.

Delhi University Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

For the Assistant Registrar position, candidates should have a Master’s Degree with at least 55 per cent marks or an equivalent grade. The upper age limit for this position is 40 years.

For the Senior Assistant position, applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university and have three years of experience as an Assistant or in a comparable role at Level 4. Candidates must also demonstrate proficiency in computer applications, noting, and drafting. The maximum age for this role is 35 years.

For the Assistant position, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university and have two years of experience as a Junior Assistant or in a similar position. A typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi is required, along with proficiency in computer operations. The maximum age limit for this role is 32 years.

Delhi University Recruitment 2024: Steps to Apply

Step 1: Go to the official website: du.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the “Work with DU” section and fill out the online application form.

Step 3: Upload the necessary documents, including academic qualifications, work experience certificates, and caste or category certificates (if applicable).

Step 4: Make the payment for the application fee through the online portal.

Step 5: Submit the completed form and save a copy for your records and future use.

Delhi University Recruitment 2024: Application Fee

The application fee for General/Unreserved category candidates is Rs 1,000, for OBC (NCL), EWS, and Female candidates, it is Rs 800, and for candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and PwBD categories, the fee is Rs 600. The fee must be paid online, and once submitted, it will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Delhi University Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

Assistant Registrar: The recruitment process will be conducted in two phases. Phase 1 involves shortlisting candidates based on a preliminary test consisting of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Phase 2 will include the selection of candidates through a Main Examination, followed by an Interview/Personality Test.
