Delhi University Announces Mop-up Round To Fill Vacant UG Seats In 18 Colleges

Delhi University : The admission to Delhi University has ended, but the administration will begin a mop-up round to fill the vacant seats of the UG courses. Applicants can check all the details of the vacant seats on the official website of Delhi University – https://admission.uod.ac.in/.

Delhi University is counted among the top universities in the country, and getting admission here is not an easy task as students have to pass the CUET exam for admission to any college under Delhi University.

Nevertheless, the mop-up round will be held to fill the vacant seats in the 18 colleges under Delhi University. Among them, 10 are women’s colleges.

In these 18 colleges, direct admission will be provided based on the 12th board result instead of the score obtained in the Common University Entrance Test.

After the mop-up round which concluded on October 18, students will have the opportunity to submit their fees until October 19. According to the Delhi University admission Branch, no further admissions will be granted after this round. Additionally, students who participated in the previous rounds will not be eligible for admission during the mop-up round.

In many colleges under Delhi University, seats for Hindi honours, Sanskrit honours, Home Science, and Science courses are vacant. Know about the colleges where students can get admission after the mop-up round-

  2. Sister Nivedita College.
  3. Bharati College.
  4. Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences for Women.
  5. Institute of Home Economics.
  6. Kalindi College.
  7. Lady Irwin College.
  8. Laxmibai College.
  9. PG DAV Evening College.
  10. Shaheed Rajguru College.
  11. Shyam Lal College.
  12. Shyam Lal Evening College
  13. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College
  14. Swami Shraddhanand College
  15. Vivekananda College
  16. Zakir Husain College
  17. Zakir Husain Evening College
  18. Delhi School of Journalism.

DU PG admission will be based on CUET-PG. Aspirants willing to apply for Delhi University at more than 90 DU-affiliated colleges must register for CUET exams and appear for the same. Those who qualify for the entrance examination can then register on Delhi University’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal for seat allocation.
