Delhi School Admission 2025: DoE Releases Guidelines, Document Verification Process For Special Schools

Delhi School Admission : The Directorate of Education, Delhi successfully conducted the computerised draw of lots for the admission of students under the CWSN (Children with Special Needs) category for Entry Level Classes (Nursery/Pre-School, KG/Preprimary, Class-1) on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. Following this process, the DoE has released the guidelines for admission and document verification process for candidates who have been allotted schools.

Candidates who have been selected in the computerized draw will be notified about the school assigned to them, along with the details of the Document Verification Centre via SMS to the registered mobile number within 24 hours of the draw’s completion. The list of successful candidates will also be available on the official website of the Directorate of Education at edudel.nic.in.

How To Check Delhi Special School Admission 2025?

To check the allotted school, candidates can visit the CWSN Admission 2025-26 module on the website’s homepage. By entering their Registration ID and Date of Birth, they will be able to view the school name and the address of the Document Verification Centre.

If the candidate has not been allotted a school, a message will display stating, “It is regretted that you have not been selected in the draw of lots.” Additionally, incorrect entry of Registration ID or Date of Birth will show, “No Record Found.”

Document Verification Process

Successful candidates must visit the Document Verification Centres as per schedule. They must carry the following documents for verification:

Two printouts of the filled application form

Two photographs of the candidate

Two copies of the Aadhar Card of the child (not mandatory)

Two copies of the Aadhar Card of the parents

Two self-attested photocopies of proof of date of birth

Two self-attested photocopies of residential proof

Two self-attested photocopies of documentary proof for the CWSN category

Two self-attested copies of legal guardianship documents (if applicable)

Parents and guardians are required to carry the original documents for verification by the sub-committee of the zone. Once the documents are verified, the sub-committee will recommend the names of successful candidates for admission to the respective allotted private unaided recognized schools. The final admission order will be issued accordingly.

Delhi Special School Admission 2025: Important Dates and Further Instructions

The recommended candidates must report to the allotted school for admission by May 26, 2025. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the CWSN category admission.
