Delhi Government School Admission 2024: Registration for Class 6 to 9 begins today

Government School Admission: The Directorate of Education (DoE) in Delhi will begin the registration process for admissions of Class 6 to 9 students in Delhi government schools today, April 8. Parents aiming to secure admission of their children in Delhi government schools can fill the registration form through the official website, edudel.nic.in.

“Understudies by and by considering/put under NSO in Government/Government Helped Schools will move toward their last gone to class for additional help with respect to their exchange/readmission”, the authority notice read

To sign up for Class 6, understudies who have been announced as having passed or advanced from Class 5 will finish online enlistment. Out-of-younger students should go through face to face enlistment at the closest school to their home.

Also, guardians of youngsters matured 10-12 years who haven’t gone to class are asked to enlist their kid at the nearest school. Upon enrollment, the youngster will go through an evaluation for Essential Proficiency and Numeracy, and their class arrangement will be founded on the appraisal result.

Delhi Government School Admission 2024: Age criteria
The age criteria for admission to Delhi government schools for classes 6 to 9. The Heads of Schools (HoS) hold the discretion to grant a maximum and minimum age relaxation of six months.

Class 6: Completed age of 10 but less than 12 years

Class 7: Completed age of 11 but less than 13 years

Class 8: Completed age of 12 but less than 14 years

Class 9: Completed age of 13 but less than 15 years.
