Under this plan: massive investments worth approximately \u20b97.5 lakh crore are proposed, with about \u20b93.3\u2013\u20b93.4 lakh crore earmarked for the State\u2019s domestic energy transition and nearly \u20b94\u2013\u20b94.2 lakh crore for developing export capabilities in renewable energy. NITI Aayog estimates that power purchase costs could drop to <strong>\u20b93.90\u2013\u20b94 per unit<\/strong>, with overall electricity supply costs remaining below <strong>\u20b96 per unit<\/strong>. Investments of \u20b965,000\u2013\u20b970,000 crore are proposed for modernizing transmission lines, green energy corridors, and high\u2011voltage direct current (HVDC) systems. An additional \u20b940,000 crore is planned for strengthening distribution networks.
