The award ceremony took place at the Jwhwlao Nileswar Brahma Auditorium in Bodoland University on <strong>February 3, 2026<\/strong>, where the Queen Mother was honoured for her exceptional commitment to humanitarian causes and compassionate leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event was graced by <strong>Lakshman Prasad Acharya<\/strong>, Governor of Assam, who presented the honour to Her Majesty. The award celebrates individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary humanitarian service, devotion to human dignity, and contributions that transcend national and cultural boundaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upendra Nath Brahma was a central figure in promoting social justice, peace, and inclusion for the Bodo community and the broader Northeast region of India.
