These colleges are being set up in the <strong>Dhar<\/strong> and <strong>Betul<\/strong> districts \u2014 regions that were historically underserved in terms of quality healthcare and tertiary medical education facilities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under this model, the state government is providing <strong>government land (up to 25 acres)<\/strong> on lease and facilitating the upgrade of existing <strong>district hospitals into fully equipped teaching hospitals<\/strong>. Meanwhile, <em>private sector partners<\/em> are responsible for building the academic campus and investing in infrastructure development, including classrooms, laboratories, hostels, and other essential facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The foundation stones for these institutions were laid in a ceremonial event attended by top dignitaries, including <strong>Union Health and Family Welfare Minister J.P. Nadda<\/strong>, along with Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister <strong>Dr. Mohan Yadav<\/strong>. This hybrid structure aims to ensure efficient utilization of resources while maintaining regulatory oversight under the National Medical Commission (NMC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By affiliating these colleges with existing district hospitals, the government plans to strengthen <em>clinical training capacity<\/em>, enhance healthcare services, and create additional <em>MBBS and post-graduate medical seats<\/em>. It is part of a broader strategy to bridge the healthcare gap in tribal regions and promote equitable access to high-quality medical education. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Expansion_Beyond_Initial_Launch\"><\/span><strong>Expansion Beyond Initial Launch<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While the Dhar and Betul colleges mark India\u2019s first PPP medical institutions, plans are underway to replicate this initiative in other districts such as <strong>Katni, Panna, Bhind, Morena, Khargone, Ashoknagar, Guna, Balaghat, Tikamgarh, and Sidhi<\/strong>, among others. This indicates strong governmental commitment to scale the model and bolster public health infrastructure across the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, the initiative reinforces the <em>healthcare-education nexus<\/em> by ensuring that district hospitals transform into training hubs that produce competent healthcare professionals, especially doctors equipped to
