This committee is a structured mechanism designed to enhance <strong>trade and investment cooperation<\/strong> between the two nations. The MoU was signed between India\u2019s <strong>Ministry of Commerce and Industry<\/strong> and the <strong>Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands<\/strong>, and was announced during the visit of Dutch Foreign Minister David van Weel to India, where he met India\u2019s External Affairs Minister Dr. S. It will act as a dedicated platform to review bilateral trade relations, promote two-way investments, and tackle trade barriers that hinder economic cooperation. In the fiscal year 2023-24, bilateral trade stood at USD 27.34 billion, with India enjoying a trade surplus of USD 17.39 billion. The Netherlands is also India\u2019s <strong>largest merchandise export destination in Europe<\/strong> and ranks third globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator
