Sovereign lending refers to long-term financing provided by ADB to government entities for development projects. Around <strong>26% of funds are directed to renewable energy initiatives<\/strong>, underlining India\u2019s transition towards sustainable power sources. Urban development projects receive more than <strong>18%<\/strong> of the total loan amount to upgrade city infrastructure and basic services. This funding aims to modernize <strong>Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs)<\/strong> across various states to improve employability and strengthen workforce capacities in key sectors of the economy.
