The decision introduced a dedicated window called <strong>\u201cCoalSETU\u201d<\/strong> \u2014 standing for <strong>Coal Linkage for Seamless, Efficient &amp; Transparent Utilisation<\/strong> \u2014 to expand coal allocation through <strong>auction-based long-term linkages<\/strong> for industrial usage and exports. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"1_Seamless_Coal_Allocation_Through_Auctions\"><\/span><strong>1. Seamless Coal Allocation Through Auctions<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The new <strong>CoalSETU window<\/strong> has been created under the existing <strong>Non-Regulated Sector (NRS) Linkage Policy<\/strong> to enable the auction of coal linkages on a <strong>long-term basis<\/strong>, without restricting usage to specific industries. Under the earlier system, auctions were limited to certain end-use sectors like cement or steel. With CoalSETU, <strong>any domestic industrial buyer<\/strong> can participate in the auctions, provided they need coal for industrial purposes or export \u2014 <strong>except traders<\/strong>, who are excluded from this window. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_Flexibility_and_Export_Opportunities\"><\/span><strong>2.
