The festival is organised by the central government\u2019s science ministries and key research bodies, bringing together scientists, students, educators, innovators and the general public. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the inauguration, Dr. Jitendra Singh \u2014 Union Minister of Science &amp; Technology \u2014 emphasised that this edition of IISF is built on the three key pillars: <strong>Celebration, Communication and Career<\/strong>.  He said IISF is not just a scientific conference, but a public-oriented platform designed to bring science closer to society, making it accessible and relevant to ordinary citizens, especially students and young minds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Theme_%E2%80%9CVigyan_Se_Samruddhi_%E2%80%94_For_Atmanirbhar_Bharat%E2%80%9D\"><\/span>Theme: \u201cVigyan Se Samruddhi \u2014 For Atmanirbhar Bharat\u201d<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The declared theme of IISF 2025 is <strong>\u201cVigyan Se Samruddhi: For Aatmanirbhar (Self-reliant) Bharat.\u201d<\/strong>  This reflects the government\u2019s vision to leverage science and technology as the foundational drivers for national prosperity and self-reliance. The core focus areas include: ecology and environment (especially of North-West India and Himalayan region), science for society and education, biotechnology and bio-economy, space and quantum technologies, integration of traditional knowledge with modern science, and promoting self-reliance through science &amp; technology. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The festival features <strong>150+ technical and thematic sessions<\/strong>, including workshops, exhibitions, panel discussions, and outreach activities.
