Properties that previously lacked formal documentation or were outside defined limits of gram panchayats will now be digitised, mapped, and integrated into a central database. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The platform allows issuance of <strong>digital e-Khata certificates<\/strong> (Forms 11A &amp; 11B) \u2014 official documents showing proof of ownership, tax liability and legal status. A helpline has also been launched to assist people during the transition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By digitising records and centralising data, the likelihood of errors, manual tampering, or legal disputes over property ownership is expected to reduce significantly. Regularising and bringing 95 lakh rural properties under tax net is projected to generate <strong>\u20b91,778 crore to \u20b92,000 crore<\/strong> in additional revenue for the state<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This increased revenue can strengthen Panchayat finances, enabling better delivery of civic amenities, rural infrastructure development, and improved governance at the grassroots level. The clarity in ownership documents reduces chances of disputes or fraud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, once land records are digitised and transparent, it can enhance trust and transparency in real estate and property markets in rural Karnataka.
