Bank of India has announced the appointment of Rajneesh Karnatak as the new Managing Director (MD) and Chairman of the bank. He will be succeeding Atanu Kumar Das, who will be retiring on May 31st, 2023. Karnatak’s appointment is for a period of three years starting from June 1st, 2023. Karnatak was previously serving as the Executive Director of Syndicate Bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Karnatak brings with him a wealth of experience in the banking industry, having worked with various banks such as Syndicate Bank, Canara Bank, and Bank of Baroda. He has also worked with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) as a Chief General Manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Karnatak’s appointment, Bank of India is expected to continue its growth trajectory. The bank has been performing well in recent times, with a strong focus on improving its asset quality and profitability. Karnatak’s leadership is expected to help the bank in achieving its long-term goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
