Kalikesh Singh Deo, a member of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD), has taken over as the new President of the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI). The shooting fraternity of India has welcomed the appointment of Singh Deo as the new head of the NRAI. Singh Deo takes over the reins from Raninder Singh, who had completed his four-year term as NRAI President. The new NRAI chief is the first from the state of Odisha to hold the post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Singh Deo’s appointment comes at a crucial time for Indian shooting, with the 2024 Paris Olympics just around the corner. Indian shooters have performed exceptionally well in recent years, and the country is expected to field a strong contingent in the upcoming Olympics.
