CUET UG 2023: NTA increases fees, reduces number of questions

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2023) registration period for undergraduate and graduate admission to central universities and other participating institutions has begun at the National Testing Agency (NTA). Before the CUET 2023 application deadline, candidates can submit their applications at cuet.samarth.ac.in.

CUET 2023: Major modifications made This is the list of modifications made by the NTA for the CUET UG 2023 exam this year. Increase in the number of slots: Last year, the NTA held the CUET exam in two slots: shift 1 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and shift 2 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. However, this year it has been increased to three slots. Increase in the number of subjects that can be chosen:

Candidates who applied for the exam were only able to select nine subjects the previous year; however, this academic year, they will be able to select a maximum of ten subjects from each of the three sections. An increase in the registration fees for CUET 2023. The fees for CUET UG 2023 are determined by the number of subjects selected by candidates.

A CUET registration fee of Rs 650 was required of general category students enrolling in up to four subjects the previous year. However, they will be required to pay a fee of Rs 750 for up to three subjects this year. Foreign applicants must now pay Rs 3,750 for three subjects and a maximum of Rs 11,000 for ten. Despite the number of subjects chosen, they were required to submit Rs 3,000 last year.
