CSIR UGC NET 2024 Application Ends Today, Correction Window Opens On Jan 4
UGC NET 2024 : The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conclude the application process for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) 2024 December session exam today, January 2, 2025. Candidates fill out the CSIR UGC NET December 2024 application form through the official website – csirnet.nta.ac.in until 11.50 PM on January 2, 2025.
Previously, the deadline to apply for the CSIR UGC NET December 2024 was December 30, with the payment deadline set for December 31, 2024. However, following requests from several candidates, the NTA has decided to extend the deadline.
Candidates can pay the application fee by January 3, 2025. The NTA will open the correction window on January 4 and candidates will be able to modify the CSIR UGC NET December 2024 application forms until January 5, 2025. The CSIR UGC NET exam is set to take place from February 16 to 28, 2025.
The exam fee for those belonging to the general category is Rs 1150, for general- EWS, OBC NCL, it is Rs 600 and for candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD, or are third gender, the fee is Rs 325.
Step 1: Visit the official CSIR NET website at csirnet.nta.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the ‘New Registration’ button.
Step 3: Download the CSIR NET information pamphlet and read the instructions carefully.
Step 4: Check the box at the bottom of the page, and the CSIR NET Registration Form will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Complete the form and submit it to confirm your registration.
