Chandigarh University gets NBA re-accreditation for 6 engineering programmes

Chandigarh University: Chandigarh University (CU) announced on May 24 that its undergraduate (UG) engineering programmes have been re-accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) under tier-1 for the academic years 2024-25 and 2026-27.

The re-accredited UG engineering programmes include mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, aerospace engineering, chemical engineering, and computer science engineering.

A NBA master group led an assessment on the Chandigarh College grounds on April 20 preceding giving this re-license. The group surveyed the norm of instruction, framework, and learning assets at the college. They reasoned that CU’s designing projects satisfy worldwide guidelines in giving specialized training and upgrading employability for graduates, the college said.

Communicating his enjoyment over re-authorization, CU bad habit chancellor Manpreet Singh Sustenance said: ” This re-certification is a demonstration of the difficult work, responsibility, and commitment of our personnel, staff, and understudies towards scholastic greatness and development. NBA certification is a sign of value designing training at Chandigarh College, a top foundation in India.”

“This re-accreditation underscores Chandigarh University’s ongoing commitment to maintaining high educational standards and ensuring that its engineering graduates are well-prepared to meet the demands of the global workforce. The recognition by the NBA affirms CU’s position as a leading institution for engineering education in India,” he added.
