CGPSC SSE 2024 Notification Released , Registration Begins On Dec 1

CGPSC SSE 2024 : The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has released the schedule for the State Service Examination (SSE) 2024. Candidates can check and download the schedule by visiting the official website at psc.cg.gov.in. As per the official notification, the CGPSC SSE 2024 registration will commence on December 1, 2024. The online application link will be active at noon. The last date to submit the CGPSC SSE 2024 application form is December 30, 2024 (11:59 pm). A total of 246 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive.

Once the registration procedure is completed, applicants will be able to make free changes to their submitted CGPSC SSE application form between December 31, 2024, and January 2, 2025, until 11:59 p.m. The CGPSC SSE 2024 selection process comprises three phases: a prelims exam, a main examination and an interview round. Candidates who pass each level progress to the next.

CGPSC SSE 2024: Exam Details

The CGPSC SSE 2024 preliminary examination will be held on February 9, 2025, in two sessions – morning and afternoon. The morning session is from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm while the afternoon will be held from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Those who clear the preliminary exam will advance to the Mains.

The preliminary test will be held in an offline mode. It would include two papers: General Studies and Aptitude Assessments. Each paper of the CGPSC SSE 2024 preliminary exam lasts two hours and contains 100 questions. Candidates will receive two marks for each correct response; however, wrong responses will result in a one-third deduction from their overall score.

The CGPSC SSE 2024 Mains exam will be administered on June 26, 27, 28, and 29 next year. The official website will shortly provide complete schedules and venue information.

CGPSC SSE 2024: Eligibility Criteria

– Candidates must hold a degree from a recognised university or its equivalent.

– Those who are awaiting final results may also apply, as long as they complete the eligibility requirements before the exam application deadline.

– As of January 1, 2024, the age limit is 21 to 28 years, with a five-year remission for SC, ST, and OBC applicants. According to the recruitment notification, ex-servicemen and government employees are also entitled to age-related benefits.
