CGPSC Postpones State Service Exam 2023 Interview

CGPSC : The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has postponed the interview for the State Service Exam (SSE) 2023 due to unavoidable reasons. The commission said that the revised dates of document verification and schedule for CGPSC SSE 2023 will be announced separately on the official website of CGPSC, www.psc.cg.gov.in. “Due to increase in the number of members after appointment of new members and incumbent chairman in the commission, the examination committee has to be reconstituted,” the official notification said. “As a result, the schedule of document verification and interviews will be changed accordingly. The originally scheduled document verification and interview programme for the State Service Exam 2023 will be postponed due to unavoidable reasons,” the committee further said.

The commission had earlier scheduled the document verification and interview process from October 14, 2024 to November 5, 2024. A total of 703 candidates have been shortlisted for the CGPSC State Services Exam 2023. The verification of documents of the shortlisted candidates has been scheduled for a day before the scheduled interview.

The objective of the recruitment drive is to fill a total of 242 vacancies for various positions through the State Services Exam 2023.

The Commission announced the results of the State Service (Mains) Examination on September 30, 2024. Candidates can download their scorecard from the official website at psc.cg.gov.in. This result relates to the hiring campaign that was published in 2023 for 242 posts in 17 different state services.

The CG State Services Main Examination 2023 was held between June 24 and 26 in two sessions per day – from 9 am to 12 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm. The exam on June 27 was held in a single session from 9 am to 12 pm.
