CBSE To Begin Psycho-Social Counselling For Students, Parents From February 1
CBSE : The CBSE will provide psycho-social counselling services facility to students and parents for the academic session 2025 to eliminate exam-related stress. The counselling services will commence on February 1 and continue till April 4, 2025. The free-of-cost counselling session will be held in two phases.
This comes prior to the commencement of the CBSE class 10 and 12 board exams 2025 which are scheduled to begin on February 15. There are three ways the board offers psycho-social counselling. These include IVRS, podcasts, and tele-counselling.
IVRS: Free of cost IVRS facility will be made available 24×7 for students and parents on the CBSE toll-free number 1800-11-8004. Through this process, information and suggestions about stress-free preparation for examinations, time and stress management, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), and important contact details of CBSE offices, can be accessed. The facility is available in Hindi and English.
Podcasts: Students can listen to bilingual podcasts addressing stress management and mental well-being on the CBSE official website cbse.gov.in.
Tele-counselling: Tele-counselling is a voluntary and free-of-cost service, which will be available from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm from Monday to Saturday. A total of 66 trained counsellors, principals, psychologists, and special educators from CBSE-affiliated government and private schools will be assisting students on how to take stress-free exams. Out of these, 51 are from India, while 15 counsellors are from Nepal, Japan, Qatar, Oma,n and the United Arab Emirates, the board added.
Meanwhile, the CBSE is expected to release the admit card for the 10th, and 12th board exams 2025 soon. Students will be able to download the admit card for the CBSE Board Exam 2025 from the official website at cbse.gov.in, once released.
Students who filled out the private form will have to download the CBSE Board Admit Card themselves. While regular students will have to collect their admit cards from their respective schools. Principals of schools affiliated with the CBSE board can download the admit cards of the students using their credentials and distribute them to the students.
