CBSE Result 2025: Board Opens Correction Window To Edit Student Particulars Before Results
CBSE Result 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has allowed schools to correct student details submitted for the 2025 board exams. This correction window is open from April 9 to April 17, the board said in a notice. The move comes after many schools sent in wrong information about students, despite repeated instructions from the board. Later, these schools asked CBSE to make changes, which led to the opening of this formal correction facility.
Schools will need to pay a correction fee of Rs 1,000 per student. The fee must be submitted to the respective CBSE regional office. This correction facility is only available for regular students.
For parents’ names, only minor changes are allowed. Full name changes or major edits will not be accepted.
CBSE has clearly mentioned that changes in student category (like General to OBC) are not allowed. The board has advised schools to be careful while submitting data in the future, as mistakes can affect students’ results and official documents. This correction window is being provided as a one-time chance to fix such errors.
After nearly two months of exams, CBSE Class 12 results are expected to be declared by mid-May. The board conducted the final exams between February 15 and April 2 this year. The board conducted the final exams between February 15 and April 2 this year.
