CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exam 2025 Datesheet Released

CBSE Class 10 : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the full datesheet for the classes 10 and 12 board exams 2025. As announced earlier, the exams will begin on February 15. The class 10 exams will conclude on March 18 while the class 12 exams will end on April 4, 2025.

“Sufficient gap has been given between two subjects. The datesheet has been prepared by keeping in mind at least 40,000 subject combinations to ensure that no two subjects opted by a student fall on the same date,” CBSE Exam Controller, Sanyam Bhardwaj said.

This is the first time the board has issued the datesheet at least 86 days in advance. Usually, CBSE announces the dates of board exam dates by the end of November or by the first or second week of December, but this time, CBSE released the schedule a few days earlier.

“For the first time, the datesheets have been issued nearly 86 days before the start of the examinations. Also, when compared with the date of the issue of the date sheet of examinations-2024, this year, the date sheets have been issued 23 days in advance. This could have been possible because of the timely submission of LOC by the schools,” the official notice stated.

CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2025 Datesheet

The secondary school exams or class 10 will commence with English (Communicative) and English (Language and Literature). The exams will be held on February 15 from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. The exam will end with Computer Applications, Information Technology, and Artificial Intelligence which will be held from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.

CBSE schools will start practical exams and internal assessments for class 10 and 12 board exam candidates from January 1, 2025. Practical exams for CBSE winter schools will be held from November 5 to December 5, 2024. Over 40 lakh students are expected to appear for the 2025 board exams from more than 8000 schools affiliated with CBSE across the country.
